Step 1: Pre-Appointment Phone Call
After you request a free consultation, a designer will call you to discuss the scope of your project and what you can expect during a virtual appointment. During the conversation, they’ll ask you what video-conferencing tool you’re most comfortable with (e.g. FaceTime, Duo, Zoom, Skype, etc.) and request that you complete a short survey to determine your project goals prior to the appointment. Your designer may also ask you to send photos of your windows beforehand so they can start brainstorming solutions for your windows.
Step 2: The Virtual Consultation
Once you’ve connected with your designer, they’ll ask to take a quick virtual tour of the rooms that need window treatments. Now that they have an understanding of your unique window covering needs, your designer will recommend personalized solutions for your windows that match your lifestyle, décor and budget. You’ll explore fabric samples, see product demonstrations and be provided pricing.
Once you’ve selected the perfect style, your designer can send you free material samples so you can see exactly how the fabric will look in the window prior to purchasing.
Step 3: Measuring Your Windows & Placing Your Order
Your designer will arrange a free measuring appointment with a licensed professional (where available) or if your feel comfortable, walk you through taking your own measurements during the virtual appointment. Once everything is finalized, your designer will send you an electronic contract for signature and take payment over the phone.
Step 4: Installation
You have the option of having your window treatments professionally installed (where available), or we’ll provide instructions on how to install them yourself. Whatever option you choose, we’ll make sure your completely satisfied with the result!
